What is PaddleMotion?
PaddleMotion is a pedal-powered paddle-drive system for open canoes and other suitable small watercraft.

Description
PaddleMotion is a packable device, which you attach to the gunwales of an open canoe. You then attach a pair of standard canoe paddles to the quick-release clamps and then by using your legs to pedal, PaddleMotion will do the paddling. PaddleMotion will also allow you to easily disable it when not required, and resume hand paddling. You can convert a third paddle to a rudder using PaddleMotions's rudder attachment, which will provide you with full control of the canoe.
Greater power and endurance can be achieved using your legs. Apply that power and endurance to PaddleMotion and it will allow you to travel at greater speeds improving the range of travel available, a feature attractive to the weekend adventure paddler who does not want to use a motor.
PaddleMotion propels the boat easily and smoothly, and reaches hull speed with minimal effort. It also generates significant static thrust outperforming a canoe with two paddlers.
PaddleMotion is simple and easy to use. Your feet rest naturally on the pedals and you pedal effortlessly in the recumbent position similar to a bicycle. The larger muscles in our legs produce more powerful ppropulsion and staying power versus arms using a paddle.
PaddleMotion maintains perfect paddle alignment, is quiet and creates no splash on flat water and minimal splash on rough water. PaddleMotion leaves your hands free for fishing, photography, hunting or holding a drink.
